Alice Gerschler began her photographic journey on the picturesque Peninsula of Monterey,
California.  While growing up, she was inspired to pursue photography after meeting Ansel Adams,
Brett  Weston  and Cole Weston at a photography reception in Carmel.

She received her degree in Arts at Monterey Peninsula College and then transferred to San Diego
State where she majored in graphic arts.  After college she stayed in San Diego working as a graphic
artist for several years.   She married and started raising a family.  Raising four beautiful children she
moved  to a career as a travel consultant.  With 19 years experience, Alice is now working for
*Travelwise International, an established agency since 1963.  She has become a travel specialist for
Mexico, Caribbean, Central America, South Pacific, Asia, and Western Europe, as well as a specialist
in Honeymoon  Destinations & Weddings and  Cruise planning.

Alice has been taking photographs for 35 years, but in the past 7 years she has been able to turn that
passion into her profession. When she is not traveling or working at the agency, she is a wedding
photographer, traveling as far out as Northern California.  She has also been lucky enough to
combine her two career's and received the opportunity to publish her photographic images in travel
magazines
.  Along with weddings and travel photography, Alice has experience photographing sports
(La Cross, Sailing, Soccer and Surfing) for all ages.
